A simple, somewhat vintage baby shower…. my nephew is almost here!

We had a baby shower to honor my wonderful sister (in-law) and my soon to be oh-so-special nephew.

We are no experts of course (my mom and I), but we do like fabric, DIY,  and somewhat vintage “stuff” so we came up with a theme that included those, as well as some things the mommy-to-be would like.

Here are a few of the pictures…

My mom made the fabric banner and I used my new machine to cut out the letters. So fun!

As people arrived, we had them sign some diapers…

…write notes to the parents to be…

…I most definitely see the word “blowout” on that hidden diaper on the bottom. Baby and blowout? Absolutely!  😉

We then had them guess how many chocolate covered espresso beans were in the huge not-for-real-use-bottle…

… there were _____ many – any guesses?

We ate…. this is some of the food but we had not brought out the hot food yet when I took my picture. We had a brunch which consisted of frittatas, fruit, build-your-own-yogurt-parfaits, caprese salad, deli wraps and of course a few towers of donuts… and of course coffee!

Mmmmmm. I may or may not had one of these, or 2. Good thing nobody was keeping track.

The mommy-to-be loves daisies so we stuck some on each table…

Here she is looking fabulous while opening gifts… the cutest belly EVER!

It was a fun morning and It was a joy to throw such a beautiful lady and soon to be mom a shower.

We are so excited for the little one to get here!
