You know you have a toddler when…

… Peanut butter and honey sandwiches dissappear by the loaf.

… Apple slices are returned like this after a snack.

… Window sills become highways.

… You have to check all cupboards, shelves and drawers because there may be a snack left behind.

… There is a tent in the living room at any given time.

And inside will often look like this.

… You have to step over train tracks in the middle of the busiest traffic area.

… Food gets “nibbled” on.

… “Popcorn and a movie” date nights turn into popcorn and cartoon afternoons.

… What you thought was a “good view”,  is suddenly nothing compared to being able to watch him play peacefully.

… Going to the grocery store is a monumental task.

… The crib is full of animals, books and toys with a little sleeping room left.

… despite complete exhaustion, a sticky and messy house, peanut butter in my hair, dishes galore and a mountain of laundry I am blessed to the brim and my heart is full.
