A Day in the Life of Chaco – the family dog.

Chaco’s Day starts when the first person gets out of bed (me)…

keeps a watch

He makes his way to the couch where he soon receives a warm friendly (sometimes) greeting from Kelvin…

chair

Then he takes a morning nap while Kelvin hangs out and waits for his breakfast…

Followed by a midmorning nap in the sun-spot…

relaxed sunbath

He then re-situates and continues his morning nap because that sun just feels so good…

He typically gets used as a chair at some point…

He then can’t help but hang out with the baby..

But then he can’t help but play “sticks” outside with Kelvin…

Then that sun, oh that sun feels so good – so more sunbathing…

Followed by a walk (hopefully)…

goes on a walk

Then he is exhausted so needs an afternoon nap…

nap 5

But then if he is really lucky gets to hang out with his best buddy…  which turns into a nap if they played their hearts out (as usual)…

Kelvin is outside again, so he has to go out and keep an eye on him…

This is followed by a very much-needed evening nap…

nap 2

He then gets several evening hugs…

Chaco does a little snuggling on the couch with whatever stuffed animal is there while he waits for me to be ready for bed because he is so tired he can barely hold his eyes open (and I am usually the last one to bed)…

snuggles

Then he Calls it a night once he is tucked in…

nap 4

Phew… what a day!
